Saint Katharine Drexel Feast Day Celebration
March 3 at 7pm

Despite the severe thunderstorms on Tuesday evening, many came to honor Saint Katharine Drexel for her Feast Day Celebration at the Cathedral on Tuesday, March 3. It was a beautiful evening of Song and Prayer, featuring praise and worship music by the Catholic Gospel Choir, directed by Tonya Dorsey, and readings from the writings, reflections, and prayers of Saint Katharine Drexel.

Channel 6 Action News covered the Feast Day Celebration, with video clips of St. Katharine’s event interspersed throughout the news story about the Archdiocese’s precautions for the Coronoavirus, featuring an interview with Fr. Dennis Gill, Rector and Pastor of the Cathedral Basilica of Ss. Peter & Paul in Philadelphia. Click here to view the clip.
